Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She's an American-Mexican actress. She also sings. When she was a kid she was subjected to racial taunts by American citizens of all races. In the Broadway version of the original show Spamalot she portrayed the Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as critical praise. Her fame grew for her appearance on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. Also, she is a well-known singer and has published an extended version of her play. In addition, she's an activist who works hard in the fight for LGBT rights.
