Zoe-perry

Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Her first appearance was in television shows as Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on Roseanne, an ABC sitcom Roseanne. But her parents would not let her perform until she reached the age of adulthood because of the impact stress might be able to have on their daughter. Perry claimed that she was too shy to act during high school, but started acting at Northwestern University as a way to meet new people after she transferred to the university from Boston University. Perry began her career with New York after graduation, performing in minor roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But homesickness made Perry go back to California to work as a stage actress. In 2013, she appeared in The Other Place on Broadway with her mother. Kevin McKidd, her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer prize-winning film Anna Christie alongside her in 2015. In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family. In 2017, Perry played a supporting role in the ABC political drama Scandal in which her father was the main character. In the same year, she portrayed a child model of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) as her mother in a younger version. The role was offered to her through an open audition despite being connected to the persona.
