Ina-Garten
Ina Garten, an American author of cookbooks on cooking and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget, as well as other policy papers. She initially found her career as stimulating intellectually, but eventually lost interest and purchased a tiny speciality store for food known as Barefoot Contessa. The business was extremely profitable for over 18 years, until she decided to shut it down. Her next step was to write the first book. Other cookbooks followed, as the magazine column. Meanwhile her Food Network television show too began its run and was popular. In addition, she sells everything from cooking equipment to supplies and containers. Ina was never a part of any cooking schools or employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. She's known for her easygoing approach to cooking and entertaining. Her most popular recipes include Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken as well as Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
