Mary Marg Helgenberger born 16 November 1958, is an American actress. She first began her acting career in the 80s. Her role as Siobhan Ryan in a daytime soap-opera titled Ryan's Hope in 1982-1986 was what attracted the attention to the attention of the general public. Catherine Willows is her most famous role in CBS's police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation from 2000-13 and Immortality (2005). In 2007 she earned her bachelor's degree in art and history at Columbia University. The year after, she was co-host of the morning program The View, which she was host until 2021. For her work she was awarded 4 Daytime Emmy Award nominations. McCain began writing a weekly column for the Daily Mail after leaving The View.
